FAQ

We know that establishing a website can be intimidating, however we urge all of our clients not to even think about the technology.

Think of it this way: If you were to commission a television ad, would you worry about the production equipment and the approach to broadcasting, or simply the end product of the ad and the audience reach?

Here are a few common questions that come up before, during and after a website is created for our clients that may help you.

Yes, you are able to view almost all pages in the CMS before publishing them online. This is done by clicking on the Preview button of your CMS interface. Please note that this will not work in some cases, as some "pages" in the CMS are for a portion of content of a page in the site, rather than the whole page.
No. ExplainerDC develops websites and the corresponding CMS to ensure that you do not have to worry about anything technical. The CMS is full of forms to fill in. Make your additions or updates and then click on "Save". It is really that simple.

Yes. The CMS offers almost all of the same capabilities of Microsoft Word. The toolbar, or wysiwyg ("what you see is what you get"), has the same icons to make it as easy to understand as possible. Therefore, to create links use the same "link" button as you would to create a link in Word. You will then be asked if it is a file (within your website) or a site (a different website). You can even control whether the linked page/site opens in the same browser window or in a new one, in the "Target" tab.
