The requirements for AfricaFertilizer.org were demanding: multiple content contributors with varying permission levels, dual language, several approaches to content searching, filtering and sorting, as well as real-time data analysis tools for the users.
ExplainerDC is proud to have delivered on all objectives, successfully! The first phase of our projects is always documentation, and due to the complexities of this project, this phase took several weeks. We were grateful that IFDC also understand the necessity
of being thorough in this phase.
We approached the project by first defining the ideal solution, and then compromising on functionality where it made sense for scope, budget and/or timing. This exercise was successful because of a very open and transparent relationship ExplainerDC has developed
with IFDC, and decisions were made together to ensure all parties believed in what was going to be developed.
AfricaFertilizer.org is truly a web portal that is developed by Africans and is all about Africa!
